About the career...

University is so different compared to school! Maybe the more evident thing is about topics…
I had math, biology, history and all these common subjects during my high school stage, but now I’m having doing Psychology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychobiology, Social History of Chile and Social Investigation Methodology. Personally, I like them but I would prefer have more practice chances because the majority of evaluations are only theoretical.

About the workload I think that tests and projects have reasonable times but are bad distributed through the semester because there are many evaluations in only two weeks!  The texts that we must read aren’t very long and can be read during the designed periods.

In FACSO the infrastructure is decent –but compared to other faculties of the same university is very poor- because have library and study rooms. Currently, there isn’t a canteen as in others faculties and the library is a bit small.  For this reason I usually study in the classrooms buildings and in the Philosophy and Humanities Faculty library.

The use of technology on the teaching process isn’t very prominent and is limited to the use of projectors to show the Power Point presentations.  I would like that the university could be lend tablets because will be very useful tools for people that don’t have one.

The teaching method, as I said before, very theoretical and, as a Psychology student, I think that must exist more practice during the career and not only on the final stages of formation.
