Cinema, the Seventh Art
We watch movies to enjoy the story, to have
a good time or only to spend time. After all, who dislikes a good movie? There are many kinds of films but,
personally, I don’t prefer a genre over another.
The last movie that I saw in the cinema was
Trainspotting 2. I liked it very
much! The original cast and the director of the first movie were involved on
the making of T2 giving the same
spirit to this sequel.
Well, I really love the first one Trainspotting so I am going to talk
about the film. Trainspotting is a
black comedy drama released on 1996 directed by Danny Boyle and based on the novel of the same name. The film follows
a group of friends addicted to drugs who are constantly getting in troubles
because of their addiction. The major protagonist is Ewan McGregor who
portrayed Mark Renton, and the other characters are staged by Johnny Lee
Miller, Ewen Bremmer and Robert Carlyle. I like this movie for many reasons:
the screenplay that was innovative on these time, the soundtrack (it contains
songs of artists that I like as Iggy Pop, New Order, Blur…), the acting quality
and the plot itself. Trainspotting and T2 are movies that I would recommend to
any movie –and music- lover as me.
Which movie would I like to see again?
There are many options! I can’t really choose one because anyway, I prefer
spend the time watching new movies.
